Last month we were invited by The Zero Shop in Capitola, CA to have a pop-up at their new store. What initially started as an online business has now become a beautifully curated brick+mortar location with a collection of products to help make the transition to zero-waste living. Needless to say, we loved it right away!
The store opened a few months ago after the perfect space came up in town and the opportunity couldn't be missed. They offer bulk shopping for essentials such as laundry detergent, soap, cleaners, etc. and also offer recycling drop-off points for items such as wetsuits, oral care waste, beauty product packaging and more. It was wonderful to listen as people browsed the selection and realized how they could make small changes to reduce their waste.
We have family in Santa Cruz and they were happy to host + help us over the weekend as we filled their garage with bikinis prepping for the event. Throughout the weekend we were able to share the story behind Santos Swim and make meaningful connections with our customers. It's very important to us that our customers feel 100% confident while wearing our swimwear, so we loved the opportunity to help find the right style and fit for each individual's needs.
