Santos Swim is a globally-conscious swimwear brand, inspired by world travels and committed to clean oceans. Through our designs, we seek to showcase the beauty found in every destination and to create a global community that will inspire one another to live consciously. We choose recycled materials before new ones, design based on style rather than trends, and value transparency over exclusivity. We welcome you into this community and invite you to grow with us.
Classic designs transcend seasons and trends. Santos Swim suits are inspired by destinations around the world and are designed to wear year after year. Whenever possible, our suits are designed with dual purposes in mind; whether they can be worn multiple ways, are reversible or are multi-functional as yoga tops and bodysuits. This method of design extends the functionality and life of the suits beyond their original intent, producing a more eco-friendly product.
Our swimwear fabric is made with 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon, resulting in less new fabric added into the fashion cycle. By choosing to use this fabric made primarily from ghost fishing nets and other nylon waste, we are choosing to support cleaner oceans around the world without compromising on quality.
Our merch items are printed with low-impact inks and made from 100% organic cotton & recycled polyester.
Our swimwear manufacturing partner in Bali, Indonesia is held to high ethical and sustainable standards. This includes fair wages, safe working conditions and medical insurance for both workers and their families. They use Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified fabrics and biodegradable packaging materials.
Santos Swim believes in making the most of our resources. Each swimsuit comes in a drawstring bikini bag made using any fabric cutoffs from the production run. Our poly mailers are made from 100% recycled materials, feature a dual adhesive strip for reuse and are recyclable. Our hygiene liners are biodegradable and can be composted.
1% of each purchase is donated to Healthy Seas, the environmental initiative focused on retrieving abandoned fishing nets to be turned into ECONYL® regenerated nylon and used in products like ours.
